Ingredients for the Base Cookie Dough:
- 2 sticks of unsalted butter, softened
- 1¼ cups of powdered sugar
- ¼ tsp of salt
- 1 whole egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 2½ cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of almond flour
How to Make the Base Cookie Dough:
Step 1
In the bowl of a stand mixer, add the softened butter, powdered sugar, and salt, then beat everything until soft, add the whole egg along with 1 egg yolk, and continue beating until combined. Scrape the sides, then keep beating until smooth and combined.

Step 2
In a separate bowl, sift over the all-purpose flour and almond flour, then whisk them until incorporated, and add them to the stand mixer bowl.
