Hair contributes a lot to our confidence and whole appearance, so having healthy and manageable hair is a must-have, but it isn’t that easy for everyone. Most people, like me, experience hair fall or hair loss caused by a lot of factors such as stress, luckily, there are a lot of ways to take care of your hair and make it thicker and longer without the need for chemicals or hair products. Learn how with this video tutorial by My Simple Remedies on YouTube!
#1: Calming
Hair grows whiles sleeping because the scalp gets the maximum supply of blood while laying down. Brushing or combing is an exercise that increases blood flow and circulation to the hair follicles. Do this before sleeping because detangling your hair before bedtime also helps make it frizz-free, and you’ll wake up with highly nourished hair.
#2: Inversion
This is also known as the upside-down technique, lowering your head from the bed before sleep increases the blood supply because the blood containing oxygen rushes to the scalp and nourishes the hair follicles. Carefully lower your head down from the bed, then massage your scalp with your fingers gently for about 5 to 10 minutes every night or at least 3 times a week for the best results.

#3: Flip your hair forward
You can do this method while standing or sitting comfortably, just flip and comb all your hair forward, then gently massage your scalp for about 5 minutes. This method will also help increase the fresh blood supply to your scalp and nourish your hair. However, pregnant women should be very careful or just avoid this method to prevent putting too much pressure on the abdomen.
#4: Tie your hair in a loose braid
Before bedtime, make sure to tie your hair in a loose braid. Sleeping with your hair loose and spread out on the bed breaks your hair and leaves it tangled in the morning. Braiding your hair will make your hair more manageable and neat the next morning.
#5: Avoid tie hairstyles
Hair strands are pulled by tight braids, buns, or any sort of accessories that causes stress on the hair follicles. Pulling of the hair causes breakage and reduces the blood supply which can result in permanent hair loss, so make sure to tie your hair loosely to prevent damage.
#6: Do not wrap your hair in a towel
If you wrap your hair after showering while it’s still well, your hair becomes more prone to breakage because the weight of the towel can break the hair from the roots by pulling the wet hair. Just squeeze out all of the excess water from your hair and let it air dry.
