I always make sure to include bananas in my grocery list because I want to have enough stored in my kitchen so that I have them available whenever I want to make some fresh and delicious banana bread. What I love about this recipe by Em’s Kitchen on YouTube is you can modify the ingredients to your preference by using the topping of your choice or whatever you have available, it could be some leftover chocolate chips, dried fruits, nuts, etc. Try it out now and see for yourself!
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 180°C or 350°F, then grease a loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray, and set it aside. Peel the bananas, then add the flesh to a large mixing bowl, and mash it well. Add in the egg, sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract, then whisk them all together until well combined and incorporated.

Step 2
Next, add the flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, then gently fold them together to combine, add the chocolate chips, and continue to fold until evenly incorporated. Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan, then spread it evenly, and add more chocolate chips all over the top.
Step 3
Now, place it in the preheated oven, then allow it to bake for about 50 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted at the center comes out clean, and then remove it from the oven. Allow it to cool down for a bit, then unmold, and let it cool completely before slicing. Serve and enjoy!
