I’m not going to lie – this is probably the world’s best chocolate chip cookie. I tried this recipe by Honeysuckle on Youtube and was blown away by how good the cookies turned out. The outside is crunchy, and the inside is soft and chewy. It has the perfect balance of sweetness that I absolutely love! Make sure to try this at home – I am sure it will be an instant hit.

Add 1/2 cup of high-quality butter to a pan and melt slowly at medium-low heat until browned. This will give the cookies a depth of flavor. Transfer to a bowl and let it cool for about 5 minutes.
Put 1/2 cup of white sugar and 1/2 cup of dark brown sugar into the cooled butter. Mix with a spatula until butter is well incorporated.
Add one room-temperature egg and mix it again. Next, add 1 teaspoon of vanilla, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda. Mix until well combined.
Put 1 1/3 cups of flour and 1 cup of large chocolate chips into the mixture. Mix until well incorporated.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using an ice cream scoop, scoop large dollops of the cookie dough onto the baking sheet. Space them 2 inches apart, as they will flatten and spread when baked. You can sprinkle salt on top of each ball. If you like your cookies that are more like a mound, place them in the fridge for about 5 to 10 minutes to let the butter cool down. But if you like flat and round cookies better, no need to put them in the fridge.
Bake the cookies at 350 degrees for about 12 minutes. Once done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool for 5 to 6 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
