Mix them all together until well combined and incorporated, then add the melted butter, vanilla extract, and food coloring making sure to mix them well in between each addition until fully combined.

Grease the baking dish with a nonstick cooking spray, then pour the batter spreading it evenly, and tap it on the surface a few times to remove any trapped air bubbles. Place it in the middle rack of a preheated oven, then allow the cake to bake at 350°F for about 45 minutes, or until a toothpick or knife inserted at the center comes out clean. In a separate bowl, add the melted butter and dark brown sugar, then stir them together until well combined and dissolved, and then brush it all over the cake once done baking. Serve and enjoy!
