I love eating bread, especially in the morning. There’s just something about it that makes my day instantly better. I usually eat it with different kinds of spread and meat, like bacon and ham. I have always wanted to learn how to bake at home, but unfortunately, I don’t own an oven. Luckily, I found this easy pan fried bread recipe by Qiong Cooking on Youtube. I made some, and they turned out amazing. These are definitely great for breakfast. I was so surprised by how easy these were to make. Plus, you only need 8 ingredients for this recipe. But what I liked most was the process, as it didn’t involve kneading, and I didn’t need to touch the dough. I’ll surely keep making this and have it with coffee. Add 1 egg, 2 tablespoons of cooking oil, 3 tablespoons of sugar, 1 teaspoon of yeast, and lukewarm milk in a mixing bowl. Mix until well combined.
Add 2 cups of all-purpose flour and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Mix well using a silicone spatula until it forms into a dough.
Cover the dough and let it rise for about 1 hour.
Mix the dough and transfer it to a piping bag.
Drizzle some olive oil into a pan and spread using a silicone brush.
Squeeze the dough into small balls into the pan. Use a bread knife to cut the dough. Make sure to add spaces in between. Cook them over low heat with the lid on.
Once the bottom flattens and turns brown, flip each piece of bread. Cook the other side.
Serve on a plate. Enjoy!
