Wrap painter’s tape around the top and bottom part of the jar. Make sure that the ends are aligned.
Wear your gloves and lay paper or plastic on your workspace to keep it clean. Put some black paint on any container, then paint the whole glass with it except the section between the painter’s tape using the brush sponge. Also, paint the lid and all the caps. Let them dry completely.
Cut the wooden flat sticks based on the length between the two painters’ tape using scissors. Next, paint them using black paint. Let them dry completely.
Coat all of them with water-based gloss varnish and let them dry. Remove the painter’s tape, then glue the painted wooden sticks around the unpainted section of the glass, equally spaced.
Glue the big cap on the bottom of the jar. Next, glue the medium-sized on the lid of the jar and the small one on top.
Glue the twine around the bottom of the jar and on the bottom of the wooden sticks. Next, glue just below the lid and the top of the wooden sticks. Lastly, glue a twine on the lid for the handle. Place the candle inside and you are done.
