Step 1
Place a pot on a stove over medium-high heat, then pour the chicken stock, and add the bouillon cubes. Stir them all together until dissolved and well combined and set them aside. Place a deep pan over medium-high heat as well, then add and melt the butter, and add the onions. Give them a good stir, then let the onions cook for about 5 to 7 minutes or until translucent, and slowly whisk in the flour until the mixture thickens. Pour all of the chicken stock while consistently whisking until desired consistency, then add the frozen peas and carrots as well as the chopped celery and chicken, and then mix them until well combined.

Step 2
Season it with salt, then taste it, and adjust it to your preference. Once done cooking the filling, remove it from the stove, and transfer it to the baking dish leaving about half an inch of space at the top for the crust. Roll out the dough, then place it on top of the baking dish, trim it out, and crimp the edges. Cut some slits at the top of the crust, then beat together egg yolk and water, and brush it on top of the crust. Place the pie in a preheated oven at 350 degrees, then let it bake for about 60 minutes, and let it cool thoroughly. Serve and enjoy!
