I’ve tried a lot of sticky buns recipes but this is one of my favorites so far! Whenever I crave this delicious pastry, my go-to recipe is this one by Savor Easy on YouTube, because it is so simple to follow, easy to prepare, and amazingly delicious. So, if you’re also considering trying this one, then don’t think twice, because you won’t regret it.

Caramel topping

Step 1
Prepare the dough. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, sugar, and instant yeast until well combined, then add the flour and mix until it comes to a dough. Cover and set it aside for about 20 minutes until its size doubles, then add salt and butter, and knead them together until the butter is fully incorporated into the dough. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured counter, then knead, slap, and fold until it becomes smooth and elastic, place it in an oiled bowl, cover it, and set it aside for about an hour. While waiting for the dough to rise, prepare the caramel topping. In a saucepan over low to medium heat, add the butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup or honey, then stir them together until melted and well combined, and pour into a 9×12″ baking dish.

Step 2
Spread the pecan or any nuts all over the caramel, then set it aside. Now, get the dough and transfer it to a lightly floured surface, then flatten and roll it out to a rectangle shape with a 14×18″ size, and brush ¼ cup of melted salted butter all over it. Now, for the filling, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon powder until uniform, then sprinkle all over the dough evenly, and roll the dough into a log. Cut it to 12 pieces evenly, then place them in the prepared baking dish, and cover for about 30 minutes. Preheat your oven 15 minutes before the mark, then bake the buns in the middle rack at 180°C or 350°F for about 30 minutes, and let it cool down a bit before unmolding. Serve and enjoy!
