Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Then grease a 9 x 12 baking dish using a non-stick cooking spray, then set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, put one egg and 1/2 cup of melted butter. Mix well. Once done, pour the mixture into the bottom of the baking dish and spread evenly.
Get another large bowl and beat cream cheese using an electric hand mixer until softened. beat in eggs one at a time. Then add powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time. Put 1/2 cup of melted butter until smooth.
Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake mix. Place in the oven and bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until golden on top and slightly gooey in the center.
In a small saucepan, put 1/2 cup of whipping cream and bring to a simmer for 1 minute. While simmering, in a medium bowl, put 1/2 cup of peanut butter and 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips. Once the whipping cream is hot, pour it over the chocolate chips and peanut butter. Stir all the ingredients to combine.
note: if the chips did not fully melt, microwave it for 1 minute and stir, microwave again for 1 minute then stir.
Pour the chocolate mixture on top of the peanut butter cake and spread it evenly. Let it cool and sit on the counter for an hour before serving. Enjoy!
