This repurposed tire idea by Jignesh Banker on YouTube is the easiest DIY tire project I’ve ever tried. I’ve done a lot of crafts before, but this one was what I enjoyed the most, not only did it require a few materials but is also very simple to make, I even managed to make more than 1 tire seat. This is definitely a must-try!
Step 1
Take 1 tire and mark 32 evenly spaced dots around one sidewall, then drill holes on those markings, make sure that the holes are big enough for the rope to pass through. Spray paint the tires with blue or any color you want. Insert the end of your rope through one of the holes, then make a knot, and pull. Skip 8 holes before inserting the other end of the rope, pull it all the way through, pivot, and insert it into the hole beside it, pull, then insert the rope into the holes right in front of the current hole the rope is inserted. Repeat this process until you have a total of 8 vertical lines.

Step 2
Pivot your rope, then start threading the rope through horizontally. Weave the rope through the first layer of lines until you have a total of 8 horizontal lines. Flip the tire over and pull the rope tightly, then knot the end of the cord inside the tire. Drill 4 evenly spaced holes on its sidewall without ropes, then drill matching holes on the other painted tire as well. Place the tire with ropes on top of the one without, then attach them together with nuts and bolts through the 4 drilled holes.
