Level up your garden or yard by building your own greenhouse using 2 by 4 wooden planks! This woodworking project is a simple yet sturdy DIY craft that you can make on your own. Simply follow this tutorial by Modern Builds on YouTube.
Step 1
Once you’ve figured out how big you want your greenhouse to be, you need to start framing up the walls. For this project, measure up 24 inches on center to frame up the first eight-foot wall, then measure up about 7 feet up for the doorway. Before you start assembling the walls, you have to line everything up first and clamp them together to make sure that they are properly and evenly placed. Cut the wooden frame for the roof, making sure to cut the ends with a 45-degree angle, join them and make a triangle.

Step 2
Place 2*4 wooden planks in between the triangle frames, then cut the plastic panels accordingly and attach them to complete the roof, and then install the foam on the corrugated panels. Flatten out the area where you’ll build the greenhouse, add cinder blocks for the footing, build and let the wall frame stand. Start installing the roof, then secure all sides with nails or screws. Add some board and shelves inside, then use the same plastic roofing to cover the walls on the sides. Install the door frame, then cover the bottom quarter of the greenhouse as well as the door with white panels. Add some dirt around the greenhouse and press it down to make it stable
