This low-budget DIY bird feeder by 3MB Vlogs is so perfect for summer. You will want to cover make these for all your outdoor areas. I’ve got one for each of the windows in my house now. The best part of this is that the project only takes a few minutes to make and can be made with items lying around your house. All you will have to buy is some birdseed to fill up the bird feeder. These would also make great chicken feeders if you wanted to hang them in a coop.
Start by burning holes into the bottom of your two-liter bottle. Burn the holes between the creases in the bottom. You could even use an Exacto knife to cut the holes if you don’t have a wood-burning tool. You could also use a milk jug or another large bottle if you don’t have a 2-Liter bottle on hand.

Attach the bottle you just cut holes into, to your plate. Use hot glue to do this. Just glue a circle of hot glue in the center of the plate and sit the bottle onto it. Try using some E-6000 glue instead of hot glue to make the bottle stick to the plate for longer.
Fill the bottle with birdseed. It is best if you use a funnel to do this. The seed will automatically fall out of the bottle if the holes were properly cut. This feeder can be easily cleaned with a garden hose.
