If cleaning is something you hate doing because it always ends up consuming most of your time, you should check out this video from Cityline on Youtube. You probably didn’t hear of these hacks until this article, as they’re unconventional but so effective. I move slowly, so these hacks really help me a lot with my time management. Share these with your family and friends today; they might need them as well. Watch the video below to learn the following.

#1 Stained Cup

If your cup is covered with tea stains, get a lemon, spray water, and put some salt on it to make it more gritty. After this, rub it on the tea stains and it will come off quickly from your porcelain.

#2 Plates/Dishes

If you have plates that have scratches all over them, simply spray water on the area, then sprinkle some bar keepers friend: cleanser and polish. Rub it with a clean cloth, and this will take all of the scratches off your plate.

#3 Stickers and Labels

If you have items that have stickers on them that won’t come off, simply heat them up using a hair dryer to melt the glue. After a couple of minutes, peel the stickers right off.

#4 Wood Furniture

If your wood furniture has watermarks, put a bit of toothpaste, and rub it on with a wet cloth. This will take off the watermarks right off the wood.

#5 Candle Holders

For candle holders that have candles that won’t budge, put some olive oil inside to make the candle slide right off.

#6 Lampshades

When cleaning lampshades, just use a lint brush and ran it along the fabric to remove the dust.

#7 Mirrors

When cleaning mirrors, instead of towel cloths, use newspaper. Simply spray some water on the mirror then rub it off with newspaper. This method will not leave any marks or smudges.

I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
