Add your beef chuck roast into your slow cooker, followed by 4 tablespoons of butter, 1 oz package of ranch seasoning, 1 oz package of au jus gravy mix, and 8 to 10 whole peppercini including the juice.
Place the lid and cook for 5 hours on a high setting until the meat is tender and falling apart. After the 2-hour mark, flip it and give it a mix. Place the lid back and cook until tender.
After 5 hours, skim the fat rendered on the top and break it into chunks. Serve with your creamy mashed potato and enjoy!
