1 – Zesting citrus

Hold the lemon zester between the stainless steel and handle. Hold the fruit with your other hand, then place your zester on the top. Use your thumb (hand holding the zester) to push and turn all the way down. Repeat until you’ve zested the whole fruit.

2 – Dice the hard-boiled egg quickly

Place a wire rack directly on top of a flat container. Cut the hard-boiled egg in half, place on top of the wire rack, and push through.

3 – Cleaning trash in the kitchen

Place a large container near you, so you can easily throw away trash and clean as you go. You don’t have to go back and forth to throw the trash while cooking.

4 – Fast way to cool down things completely

Fill a bowl with ice and some water. Place another bowl on top and pour the mixture. Constantly stir until completely cooled.

5 – Never use a wet towel

If you are grabbing something hot from the oven, use a dry towel. If you use a wet towel, the heat will transfer to your wet towel and the wet towel will turn into steam, which can burn your hand.
