If you love peanut butter, chances are your favorite treat is Reese’s cup. And if you love Reese’s cups, this homemade recipe from Fifteen Spatulas on Youtube is perfect for you. Just like the original, this recipe is super tasty. Start making these cups in the comforts of your home by watching the video below.

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz semisweet chocolate, chopped or in chip form
  • 1/2 cup creamy natural peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1.75 oz confectioner’s sugar, by weight

Directions:

Step 1

Line a standard 12-cup muffin tin with cupcake liners. Next, melt half of the chocolate in a double boiler. Once you’ve melted your chocolate, portion it in each cupcake well. (You can use a cookie scoop or spoon.) Put these in the freezer for 15 minutes to let them set. In a bowl, add 1/2 cup of peanut butter, 2 tbsp of softened peanut butter, and 1/75 oz of confectioner’s sugar. Whisk all together with a hand mixer until well combined.

Step 2

Scoop out the peanut butter mixture on top of the first chocolate layer. Now, for the final chocolate layer, melt the rest of the chocolate, then dollop it right on top of the peanut butter layer. Put them again in the freezer for 15 minutes to let the top layer harden.
