Looking for a quick dessert that feels decadent but is surprisingly simple to make? This easy cheesecake recipe is just what you need. With only 4 ingredients, this yogurt cheesecake delivers that rich, creamy cheesecake texture you love—without the hassle of a long ingredient list or complicated steps.
It’s a lighter twist on a classic, making it a fantastic option if you’re craving a healthy cheesecake or watching your sugar intake. Thanks to the use of yogurt, this version is not only low sugar, it’s also packed with a gentle tang that pairs beautifully with fruit, honey, or a dusting of powdered sugar.
Don’t be fooled by how simple it is—this baked beauty holds its own at dinner parties, family gatherings, or just as a little something sweet to enjoy after a long day. Whether you’re new to baking or just love a good shortcut, this 4 ingredient cheesecake is a must-try. It’s one of my go-to easy dessert recipes due to the quick prep and limited number of ingredients. It tastes amazing, even though I think it is one of the easiest cheesecake recipes I’ve ever made.
This simple-to-make yogurt cheesecake recipe pairs well with fresh fruit, preserves or even chocolate or caramel sauce. It’s also amazing plain, and I must admit I sometimes eat it for dessert since it is pretty healthy and packed with yogurt.
Yogurt Cheesecake Recipe Ingredients
- 2 cups of Yogurt, plain, flavored, Greek, or creamy
- ⅓ cup or 5 tbsp of Cornstarch
- ½ cup of Sugar
- 4 eggs
- Vanilla extract, optional
How to Make Yogurt Cheesecake
Step 1: Prepare 2 cups of yogurt (you can use either Greek-style, plain, flavored, or creamy—depending on your preference), then add ½ cup of sugar, and mix well.
Step 2: Add 4 eggs and whisk them thoroughly until incorporated.
Step 3: Add ⅓ cup or 5 tbsp of cornstarch, then continue whisking until smooth.
Optional: Add vanilla extract.
Step 4: Pour the batter into a mold lined with parchment paper, making sure to allow some overhang around the sides for easy pulling later.
Step 5: Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C or 356°F for about 35-45 minutes (the longer it stays in the oven, the more burnt it becomes, so keep an eye on it until preferred doneness). Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for at least 20 minutes, then serve immediately or chilled, and enjoy!
