Making these cake pops from scratch is easy and not as hard as you might think. It starts with the cake made from a box cake mix, which is then formed into balls and dipped in the pink frosting. They’re perfect for birthday parties, celebrations, afternoon snacks, or desserts. Watch the video tutorial below for the full instructions.

Bake the cake according to the package instructions. Make sure to grease your baking pan, before pouring the mixture and baking. Once done baking set it aside and let it cool down for about 15 minutes.
Once it has cooled down, cut the edges as you won’t be using them for the cake pops. Cut the top brown part as well. Transfer into a bowl.
Add the cake to a food processor and process until crumbly. Alternatively, you can use your hands.
Add 2 tablespoons of vanilla frosting to the cake crumbles and work it in with your hands.
Take 1 1/2 tablespoons of the cake mixture and form it into a ball using your hand, then gently roll to smoothen the surface to avoid cracks. Place on a baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
Add 8 pieces of melting wafer into a microwave-safe bowl and melt in the microwave for a minute. Add one drop of food coloring and mix well.
Take a cake pop stick. Dip the end into the pink chocolate and stick it into a cake ball halfway through. Repeat with the remaining cake balls. Once done, place them in the freezer for 5 minutes.
Add the remaining melting wafers to a microwave-safe bowl and melt in the microwave for 1 minute. Mix, then microwave again for 30 seconds. Add a few drops of the pink food coloring to the mixture then mix well. Add 2 to 3 pieces of chocolate thinner and mix well. Transfer into a narrow cup or glass.
Dip the cake pop into the mixture until it meets the pink chocolate on the stick. Let it drip for a few seconds, and flip it to the side very slowly. Do not twirl it around. Just slowly tap your hand to remove excess. Once it starts to barely drip, twirl it around a little bit. Let it dry for 5 to 6 seconds, then add your sprinkles. Place on your cake pop stand. Repeat with the remaining cake balls.
