Watermelons are delicious on their own, but even better when turned into a sorbet. What I love about sorbet is that it does not contain any milk, so you can really taste the fruit’s flavors. You can also choose any sweetener you prefer. For this recipe, you will be using honey, but if you don’t have it at home, you can use sugar. Don’t have an ice cream machine? Don’t worry! You won’t be using any special machines to make this sorbet at home. It’s super easy and delicious. Everyone will surely love it, especially the kids.

Start by cutting the watermelon into cubes, making sure not to include the white parts as they can be bitter. Place the watermelon cubes on a plate. Place in the freezer and freeze overnight.
Once they are frozen, remove from the freezer then add to a blender. Squeeze half of the lemon, making sure to remove the seeds, then add 2 teaspoons of honey. Blend until smooth.
Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of warm water into the mixture and blend again.
Serve right away or freeze for 2 hours for a thicker consistency. Enjoy!
