I’ve seen all types of wine cork projects on Pinterest…wreaths, coasters, placemats and more, but I’ve never seen wine corks used for this! What a cool idea! Wine lovers all have one problem in common. What do you do with all the wine corks, assuming you aren’t drinking boxed wine or screw top wine. If you are drinking the good stuff, you most likely will have some corks lying around. Drink and be merry and then make something cool with all those corks.

They sell some really cute cork necklaces on Etsy and are asking approximately $25! This would be a great way to make a little extra money, since these are so easy and cheap to make! It takes hardly any time to make them, so the profit would be great.

It’s amazing what people are putting on wine corks to make these interesting necklaces! I’ve seen copper twisted around the cork with beads and all kinds of clever things. One of the wine cork necklaces I saw had black leather used for the necklace, rather than a chain, and it had beads and a bottle cap dangling from it. I’m always amazed at people’s imaginations!

Some people on Pinterest have used the same technique on key chains. You can also turn the cork side ways to make a cool looking choker!

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
