What a welcome sight this pretty DIY Chair Planter will be for visitors. This is an easy breezy weekend project you’ll want to try, and the end result looks fantastic! Repurpose vintage chairs or other materials to create unique pieces for their garden. A bit of paint and some quick alterations can transform an old, worn dining chair found in the attic or at a flea market into a beautiful, creative planter.

A mini garden of colorful succulents, plants and flowers is a wonderful decoration for the balcony, deck, terrace or patio. You can also keep them indoor if you want. There are two other ways in which you can use an old chair for this purpose. The first one is to choose a flower pot that you like, measure it and then make a hole in the chair’s seat that slightly larger than the bottom of the pot. Instead of the pot you can also use kitchen utensils such as pans.

Let’s see how Laura, with Garden Answer turns an old chair into a mini garden for succulents and plants by watching this step by step tutorial.

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
