I don’t know about you, but I collect some really cool coffee mugs and got tired of hiding them on a cabinet shelf!  I’ve got all my favorite cups hanging on my new coffee cup holder now and I love it!  Since I love coffee so much, I’ve developed a coffee mug addiction and trying to find my favs is a pain in the rear, so this solved that problem!  It always feels like there isn’t sufficient storage within your cabinets for every thing you might have. Fortunately, you will save quite  a bit of space with this coffee cup holder! Makes me so happy!

Materials and Equipment:

  • Pallet
  • Hooks and screws
  • Paint, letter stencils, sponge brush (Optional)
  • Sandpaper
  • Right angle ruler
  • Ruler or tape measure
  • Pencil
  • Safety glasses
  • Circular Saw
  • Cordless Drill
  • Screwdriver

First, a couple of notes: (1) You may want to power wash your pallet before you dive into this project since you’ll be hanging things that you drink out of on it! (2) I added the COFFEE detail on the top, but this is obviously optional! The top board was longer, so I decided to add some words instead of hooks.

Watch this step by step tutorial and you can make yourself a coffee mug holder…any size you want!

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
