Woman Upcycled Seashells into Candles

We have a large collection of shells at home. Every now and then, we make different DIY seashell projects we find online, mostly for decoration. We already made wind chimes, wall art, and centerpieces. Last weekend, I wanted to try something different and use the candles that we received last year. Luckily, I found the perfect idea to repurpose these items. You can do it at home too if you have seashells and candles. It’s super easy and fast to make – perfect for decorations at home.

TikToker @angelsign_ shared a video showing how she transformed seashells into stunning candles.

She started by getting tealight candles and seashells. She removed the candles from the metal containers, then took off the wick using a blade (be careful when you do this at home). After that, she put the wax into a small saucepan, placed it over heat, and melted it. While waiting for the wax to melt, she glued the wick to the seashell.

Once the wax was melted, she carefully poured it directly into the seashell while making sure the wick stood straight. Do it slowly when you try this at home, as you don’t want the hot melted wax to touch your skin. After that, she set it aside and let it harden.

That’s all you need to do. How easy is that? The video received a lot of likes and comments on the platform, with people commenting how much they love this idea.
