  • juice of 2 limes
  • lime slices (optional)
  • 4 cups of water
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • fresh mint leaves (as needed)
  • fresh basil leaves (as needed)
  • ice

Directions:

Step 1

Chop the watermelon into cubes and add it to a large bowl. Next, chop the strawberries into smaller pieces and set aside. Now, take the blender and add as much watermelon as you can into the blender cup along with some of the chopped strawberries. Pour the simple syrup (4 cups of water + 1/4 cup sugar), and juice of two limes.

Step 2

Place on the lid and blend everything well. Once done, pass the juice through a sieve and stir it with a spoon, ensuring all the liquid goes down. After this, cover the juice for a while and finish blending all the watermelon and strawberries (add a cup of water every on every batch you blend). Now, add the juice into your juice container, add lots of ice, some lime slices, and mint leaves. Stir, and then serve with some basil leaves as garnish.
