If you are DIY lovers, to reuse and recycle old windows is indeed an inspiring idea. Every time you see the old windows at flea markets, thrift or antique stores, you don’t want to ignore them. The awesome things you can do with them are unlimited.

You can reuse old windows to decorate your home in so many different creative ways! Reusing old windows is much easier than you think, regardless of whether they have glass in them. For example, a vintage window can be turned into a beautiful picture frame. Old tall windows can also be make as beautiful garden trellis.

This particular idea for repurposing an old window is super cool. I’m especially fond of it and made one of these pretty quickly after seeing this tutorial! I simply had to have one. I just love vintage window crafts!

All you need is an old window (a large one is good), maybe spend some time distressing it a bit, and then follow the simple instructions to make the planter box. Hang it on your outside wall and add plants or flowers. Simple, but serene, it brings a whole new look to your backyard.

I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
