I am totally in love with this pattern by Missouri Star – it’s called the vintage bouquet quilt. What’s fun about this is that you can arrange it in several ways, creating different designs in just one block! Play with the arrangement and you’ll discover more patterns. It’s a super easy project that you can make with the orange template. I am pretty sure you’ll enjoy making this. Read on or watch the video below for full instructions. Happy quilting!

Take a square of print and background. Place them on top of each other and cut them 2″ off on the top and side. Draw a diagonal line from corner to corner onto the top square. Make sure they are right sides together and sew a quarter of an inch on both sides of the line. Once done, cut along the line. Square your half-square triangles. Press it towards the dark side.
Get your heat and bond and cut 2 pieces of 2″ strips. Take your 2″ strips from earlier and press them onto the heat and bond.
Trace the template on the 2″ strips diagonally. You can make 3 pieces on each strip, then cut them off.
Get one of the half-square triangles and put 3 pieces of the leaf on each side. Make sure that you put them on top of contrasting colors. You can use any stitch you want. You need four pieces for each block.
There are certain ways to arrange the blocks. You can create a diamond in the center, a pinwheel, or a chevron. Watch the video below for other options.
