Removing sticky gums from the hair or wigs could be solved by soaking it in Coca-Cola for a few minutes until it comes off. You can also clean your electric kettle by soaking it in Coca-Cola as well.  It works in removing stains from toilet bowls too by simply covering it with Coca-Cola or Pepsi. Lastly, it can help remove rust on tools by simply soaking them for a few hours.

This is very effective in removing various marks or stains such as; gums on a carpet, marker drawings on walls, couches, and even wooden surfaces. Simply spray it on the dirty area and wipe it with a microfiber cloth.

4.) Cleaning hacks using a lemon

To clean a cutting board, simply brush it with a half lemon, cover with salt, then leave it for 15 minutes, and rinse out. You can also remove a stain from your hands by brushing lemon all over. Another helpful hack is by using it to clean your microwave, simply put the lemon peels in a bowl of water, then microwave it for 5 minutes, and wipe your microwave clean. Clean tile grouts with an equal mixture of baking soda, lemon juice, vinegar, and water. Scoop it out and brush it onto the tile. To clean electric kettles, pour in water, add lemon slices, then set the kettle to boil. For an easy greasy pan remedy, brush it with a lemon slice topped with salt, wipe clean, then wash.

5.) Helpful hacks with baking soda

To clean your silverware and pieces of jewelry, simply fill a pot with boiling water, then add a ball of aluminum foil and a scoop of baking soda. Soak them in until they’re all shiny again. For burnt-on grease, a baking soda and water mixture can be helpful. Just spread it on the area, then spray it with vinegar, let sit, then wipe clean. You can also make DIY toilet bombs, just combine equal parts of baking soda, citric acid, and dish soap, then put it in an ice cube tray, and let dry for 2 hours. Not only that, but you can also make homemade dishwasher detergents by mixing equal parts of baking soda, citric acid, and vinegar, then put it in an ice cube tray, and let it dry for 2 hours.

6.) Unusual cleaning hacks with a vodka

Spray the vodka onto your faucet or eyeglasses, then wipe. It’s also effective in removing leftover glue from removed labels of a jar, simply spray it on and rub it with a cotton pad. You can also clean a dirty sofa or remove its stains by spraying a mixture of water, alcohol, vinegar, fabric softener, and baking soda. Brush it well and wipe it clean with a microfiber cloth.
