To start, draw a diagonal line on the back side of the white squares. Next, put one pink square and white square, right sides together, then sew on each side of the line you drew. Once done sewing, cut right on the line, giving you two half-square triangles. Repeat these steps to create eight more. After this, press them toward the pink fabric. Next, take the four pieces of pink-colored smaller squares and sew each of them to the pink side of the half-square triangles.

After this, sew the remaining four white squares on the pink side of the remaining half-square triangles. Now, take one of each and lay them down (refer to the photo below for the position). Sew them together, then press them toward the pink fabric. Repeat these steps to create three more. After this, lay them down, the tulip part facing outside, then put the white rectangles in between each piece and the green square in the center. Sew them together to create rows, then sew those rows together to finish the tulip block.
