My Christmas decorations are starting to come together.  This past weekend was a busy one but I managed to squeeze in a couple of quick and easy projects to add to my Christmas decor.

I wanted a pretty tree skirt and didn’t want to spend a lot of money.  I knew I wanted the fabric to be somewhat festive and shopped Etsy for a bit to see if there were any in my price range, but unfortunately, though there were some gorgeous ones, there wasn’t any in my price range. I’d spent a lot on Christmas gifts!

So I did a quick search on Pinterest and came across this tutorial for this gorgeous tree skirt, that, by the way, can also be used as a table cloth for your holiday celebrations!

I love Laura Coia’s tutorials…they’re so easy to follow and she’s so professional. I know many of you agree with me because of the feedback you’ve given us.

I love the way she makes this quilted tree skirt and, when I made mine, it was quite easy to make, so you can get this made quickly.

This is quite a treat, since I’ve used the same tree skirt year after year and desperately needed one! My family was so happy to see a new one under our tree this year!
