3 Ways to Freeze Bananas

2 – Second method

This second method is perfect for smoothies and milkshakes. Get a baking sheet and line it with parchment paper or wax paper. Grab your bananas and peel them. Slice into small pieces, then place on the lined baking sheet. Make sure they are in a single layer. Freeze for an hour or two until they are firm. This step will ensure they won’t stick together and you can grab just a few chunks when needed. After 1 to 2 hours, transfer the banana slices into a freezer bag.

3 – Third method

You can peel the bananas and flash-freeze them whole on a baking sheet just like you did with the second method. After that, transfer them to a freezer bag and place them back in the freezer. Your blender should be able to break them up for you when making smoothies. When using for baking, make sure to thaw them first, then mash.
