Do you always use meat for your recipes? If you do, this meat-freezing tip is for you.
We often buy meat in ready-packed containers in the grocery, which is enough for several days. We use the same container that goes with them and store them in the freezer. The problem with storing them this way is that they take up much space and are hard to thaw. If you only use 1/4 of the meat, you still have to thaw everything, which takes a lot of time.

Get one portion and place it in a freezer bag. Do the same for the remaining portions.
Seal and press each one with your hand until it is nice and flat. Remove air from the bag and seal again.
Label it by writing the type of meat and date in front of the plastic bag.
This freezing tip also applies to steaks. If you lay them in a single layer in a freezer bag and freeze them, they will take much less time to defrost and less space.
