This is a fun item to make for gifts and for craft shows. It’s quick and easy and it is extremely useful when you want to be hands free!

A package of the interfacing she uses for this project will make 5 of these tape measure wrist bands, so you will have what you need to make some of these for your friends too!

Once the fabric is folded over and the tape measure sewn onto it, the finished product measures 1″, so she bought swivel clips where the opening measures 1″ to slide the fabric through.

These are so convenient to have.  This is great for attaching to your scissors so you can easily grab them, or you can attach your keys to them and they’re easy to find in your purse. They’re great for anything that makes your life easier!

You’ll always have a built in tape measure if you need to measure something (small) real fast too! I can remember many times when I needed to measure something real fast and didn’t have a tape measure.

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
