Ingredients:
- 1/2 stick butter
- 2 – 15 oz cans of yams
- add liquid from one can
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Mix separately:
- 1/2 cup self-rising flour
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- dash of salt
Directions:
Step 1
Melt half a stick of butter and pour it on a 9 x 9 casserole dish. Next, add two cans of yams over the melted butter, then add water to both cans and pour it into the casserole dish. After this, add 1 tsp of cinnamon, 1/4 tsp of nutmeg, 1 tsp of vanilla, and 1/2 cup brown sugar. Set it aside.

Next, in a separate bowl, combine 1/2 cup self-rising flour, 1/2 cup white sugar, 1/2 cup milk, and a dash of salt. Whisk together, then pour it over the top of the cobbler nicely and evenly.
