Peel and cut the carrots. You can cut the carrots in any shape or size. Just make sure to cut them in the same size for even cooking.
Fill a pot with water and set the heat at medium-high. Add the sliced carrots and place the lid. Cook them for about 5 minutes or until fork tender.
