Acrylic pour painting is a type of art technique used to create art by pouring acrylic paint onto a canvas. This technique allows you to apply color to puddles and pools and make them into marble-like patterns, resulting in a smooth and glossy paint film effect. Designer Gemma77 on YouTube shares with us a new painting project, making beautiful flowers with the acrylic pouring technique. Feel fulfilled afterward and hang it on your favorite wall. Just remember to enjoy the process and have fun!

Materials:

  • Canvas
  • White acrylic
  • Disposable cups
  • Palette knife
  • Torch
  • Sauce tube
  • Wooden stick
  • Magenta acrylic
  • Marine Blue
  • Steel scrubber
  • spoon

Directions:

Prepare your materials and lay them on your canvas over any disposable sheet to avoid stains. Pour in magenta and marine blue acrylic in different sauce tubes. Pour a thick white acrylic layer from a disposable cup onto the canvas.

Evenly cover the canvas using a palette knife.

Use a torch to remove the air bubbles created by the thick paint. Use a wooden stick to mix magenta and marine blue in the center of the two colors. This will make a vibrant purple. Gently dab the steel scrubber onto the paint and carefully paint flowers onto the canvas.  Add more of the colors to the mixing palette and mix with the wooden stick.

Use the torch to level and remove the air bubbles in the painted flowers.  Repeat the process, mixing the colors and dapping on flowers using a steel scrubber and torch. Using a spoon like a palette knife, move the edges of the flowers. Scrape some marine blue on the side edges of the spoon to paint the flower stems and leaves. Using a wooden stick, paint some pollen over the flowers. Be creative with your color choice.
