My family loves meatballs, especially these cocktail meatballs from Collard Valley Cooks on Youtube. Before I discovered this recipe, I’d tried tons of recipes before, but this one hit all the right spots, and the sauce is to die for! Who would have thought adding jellied cranberry would make the sauce ten times better? Even I couldn’t get enough of it. I also serve these when I’m hosting a dinner party, and all my guests can’t help but ask for the recipe. So if you’re looking for the perfect meatball recipe, try this one; you will not regret it. Watch the video below to learn the step-by-step instructions.
In a large mixer, combine 2 lb ground sirloin, 2 eggs, 2 tbsp dried onion flakes, 1/4 tsp black pepper, 1/3 cup ketchup, 1 cup crushed cornflakes, 1/3 cup parsley flakes, 2 tbsp soy sauce, and 1/2 cup tsp salt. Mix everything well. Next, roll the meatballs in your palms and place them in a parchment paper-lined baking tray. Place them in a 400 degrees F oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.

After baking, it’s time to make the sauce. Heat a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat, then add a 12 oz jar of chili sauce, 2 tbsp firmly packed brown sugar, 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice, and a 14 oz can of jellied cranberry sauce. Mix everything well together. Transfer it to a large mixing bowl and dump the meatballs in. Mix well until all the meatballs are covered with the sauce.
