  • 1/2 cup or 1 stick of salted butter
  • 1/2 cup of packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup of white sugar
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • 2 cups of powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 1 cup of roughly chopped pecans

 

How to Make Southern Butter Pecan Fudge

Step 1:

In a saucepan, add half a cup of salted butter, half a cup of packed light brown sugar, half a cup of white sugar, and half a cup of heavy cream. Whisk until the butter is melted. Let it boil for 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring continuously. Remove from heat.
