In a saucepan, add half a cup of salted butter, half a cup of packed light brown sugar, half a cup of white sugar, and half a cup of heavy cream. Whisk until the butter is melted. Let it boil for 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring continuously. Remove from heat.
Add 2 cups of powdered sugar in a bowl, then pour the butter mixture and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Mix until well combined.
Add 1 cup of roughly chopped pecans and mix until well incorporated.
