This block starts with a four-patch, and then you are going to cut each side. Swap and rotate some pieces together, and sew them back together to make the block. The last thing you need to do is snowball two corners, and you have the final block. It is super easy and fun to make. Even beginners can easily follow the steps.

Take 2 print squares and 2 background squares. Lay them just like a four patch and sew them together. Press the seams flat.
Cut 1 1/2″ from the center from all four sides.
Swap the top corner squares, then swap the bottom squares. Next, turn the center block so that the color lines up with the big block on both sides. Sew them back together. Press the seams flat.
Take 2 pieces of 3″ squares and fold them in half diagonally to make a crease. Open them and place on two opposite colored corners. Sew directly on the lines then trim the excess. Now you have the block.
