Ingredients:

  • 2 lb 80/20 ground beef, browned and drained
  • 1 large white onion, diced
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 4.5 oz tomato paste
  • 15 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tbsp dark chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 1/4 tsp allspice
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 cups beef stock
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

For Serving:

  • cooked spaghetti noodles
  • shredded cheddar cheese
  • diced white onion
  • canned kidney beans, drained, rinsed, and warmed

Directions:

Step 1

Add the cooked ground beef to the slow cooker followed by the diced onion, minced garlic, 1 tbsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp ground cinnamon, 1 tsp ground cumin, 2 tbsp dark chili powder, 1/4 tsp cloves, 1/4 tsp allspice, 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper, 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp ground black pepper, 4.5 oz tomato paste, 15 oz can tomato sauce, 2 cups beef stock, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, and 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar. Mix well to combine.

Step 2
