This chocolate peanut cluster by LeighsHome on YouTube is an easy candy making sweet treat that can be made as a gift for the holidays. I think adding these in a tin can would be so sweet, because this recipe can make a good amount of chocolate. I love the idea of using Christmas molds because they are festive for the holidays. You can purchase the holiday molds at Dollar Tree. I would make a tin can full of other chocolate and cookie assortments, or make this for a cookie swap for a holiday party. Crockpot usage is a great idea if you do not want to stand in the kitchen cooking, but still want to make something.

Ingredients:

  • 16 ounces unsalted peanuts
  • 16 ounces salted peanuts
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 12 ounces milk chocolate chips
  • 32 ounces white almond bark

Directions:

First, add the peanuts to the bottom of the slow cooker. Then, add chocolate chips on top of the peanuts along with the white almond bark. Close the lid and cook on LOW for about 1 hour and a half to 3 hours, but keep an eye out so it does not burn.

Next, once the chocolate peanut mixture is ready, scoop it into any molds or plop it onto a baking sheet with parchment paper and stick it in the fridge until they have set. Continue to watch LeighsHome tutorial on YouTube for full instructions and details.

Overall, I love chocolate peanut clusters because they’re so cute and delicious. Plus, they are addicting to make for your family and friends. I usually throw a little Christmas hang out with my friends, and we do a candy or cookie swap every year. So, I think this would be a great idea to make these.
