It’s such an easy recipe, the only time-consuming part is preparing and chopping some of the vegetables. But, it still doesn’t take long at all, and layering the salad would be worth it in the end.

Ingredients:

  • 6 boiled eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • cherry tomatoes
  • cauliflower, chopped
  • mixed greens and romaine lettuce
  • shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 cup or 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 container of sour cream (1 lb container)
  • 1 small jar Duke’s Mayo
  • frozen peas, thawed
  • fried bacon
  • red onion

Directions:

First, prep your ingredients. Wash and chop any vegetables for the salad. Then start layering with the mixed greens and romaine lettuce on the bottom of the bowl.

This seven-layer salad amazes me and it looks so delicious with the different colors. I love cheese on my salad so the topping of shredded cheese and bacon looks tasteful. Also, I think scooping the salad out of the bowl can be tricky because the ingredients are jam-packed together. I can’t wait to make my own version of a seven-layer salad.
