Did you know poorly fitting shoes can lead to a range of foot problems? That’s why shoes with laces are better than those without since you can tighten or loosen them to perfectly secure your foot. If there’s too much space, the material can rub against your skin, causing blisters, and it can also lead to back pain. Wearing the right size of shoes gives you the necessary support and stability that you need when walking.

The only drawback of wearing shoes with laces is that they often come undone, which is especially annoying if you are in a hurry. It increases the risk of tripping and falling, which can lead to serious injuries. That’s why it’s important to always make sure your shoes are tied properly.
If you are tired of constantly having to fix them, try this simple shoelace trick. I learned about this technique called “Ian’s secure knot” from Mully’s place’s video tutorial. This is a great tip for avid hikers or for those who wear work boots and safety shoes daily. You no longer need to worry about your laces from now on as will not come undone ever again while you’re walking or running! Watch the video below for the full instructions.
How to Tie a Shoelace That Won’t Come Undone
Step 1:
Do the standard tie. Cross one of the laces over the other and pass the end through it.
Step 2:
Make bunny ears out of both strings.
Step 3:
Cross one over the other. Insert one loop over the center, then the other loop beneath the center.
Step 4:
Pull the ends of the loops. Fix the knots and it’s done.
To untie it, just pull the ends of the shoelaces.
