What She Makes, After Placing Beads In A Heart Design On Safety Pins, Is Magnificent!

If you’re trying to figure out a cool gift to make for friends this year, or some great stocking stuffers, this is perfect! I know that I had to have one when I saw these and I have pretty good taste!

A couple of months ago I was in a boutique just browsing around.  As I was looking I came across some beautiful bracelets on the bottom shelf of a glass case.  Instantly I was intrigued.  I had never seen a bracelet like that before.  What was even more intriguing was that it looked like it was custom made.  I looked more closely and realized that it was made from beads and safety pins!  I thought it was such a cool idea.  When I got home I went in search of a tutorial to make one of these.

I wanted to give it a little interest, like the gal in the attached tutorial does, so I decided to follow her exact instructions for making a heart design on the pins. There are so many great options (bead colors and designs) for making these bracelets.

The assembly is really pretty simple.  Layer the beads on the pin, enough beads so that the pin just barely closes.  A word of advise:  hold the beads tightly when you begin to close the pin.  If you don’t, and lose your grip, beads will fly everywhere.
