Here’s a clever way to repurpose an old clawfoot tub before you consider throwing it away! Learn how to turn it into a beautiful planter for your garden with this video tutorial by Crewsville Adventures on YouTube. You only need a few materials and a lot of your favorite flowers and plants to make this DIY project idea. This is a fun activity that you can try over the weekend, you will surely love the result, check the step-by-step instruction now, and see for yourself!
Step 1
Put some wall blocks or bricks underneath each foot of the tub to hold them in place and level. Punch a hole in the half-inch tube, then plug in the plastic connector, and attach the quarter-inch black tubing. Run the tubing up the drain hole before placing a rock over the hole to keep the dirt from clogging it, then connect the tubing to the drip tubing with an on/off plastic connector.

Step 2
Now, fill the tub with potting soil, then place and arrange your plants and flowers however you want them to be, and fill the gaps with more plants or flowers. Run the drip tubing around the plants, then use some lawn pins to keep it in place, and plug the end with the plastic stopper. Turn the water on and each of your plants and flowers will be automatically watered with the drip tubing you installed.
