Frying pans and casserole dishes can get pretty grungy if you cook a lot, it doesn’t even mean that they are necessarily dirty, they just collect a yellow film of it and can get a lot of baked-on food no matter what you are cooking stuff can get baked on and it seems to be impossible to get off. Impossible until I found this awesome sheet pan cleaning technique on Youtube using dryer sheets! The amazing thing is that it was so easy to just use this method because it uses ordinary things like dryer sheets there’s no excuse to not try it. This method is magic and you are going to freak when you find out how well it works, it’s so amazing and you will be saying, why didn’t I think of that because ut’s so obvious.

Step One:

You just fried bacon and your pan is a mess.

Clean a grungy skillet or casserole with dryer sheets

Step 2:

Run some hot water into your scungy grungy pan and add some dishwashing liquid (Dawn works well) and stir it around with a spoon.

Step 3:

Add One dryer sheet to the pan and let sit for one hour.

Step 4:

After one hour discard the dryer sheet that was in the liquid inside the pan and get a new one out of the box. Then pour out all the liquid in the pan and start scrubbing with a new dryer sheet until is all comes clean. I personally would run the pan through the dishwasher because you don’t want dryer sheet chemicals in your next meal.

This method is really excellent and takes off the most stubborn stains and cooked on food.
