  • Tonka truck
  • Fondue pot
  • Camping pot

  • Spring basket
  • Potted flowers

Old watering can

You can use your old watering can or buy one from the thrift store or flea market, then use it as your planter. Simply fill it with dirt, then remove the flowers that you’re using from its plastic container, and transfer them onto the watering can. Add more dirt around the flowers, then press around tightly to secure the flowers in place. Water it a little after planting to give it some hydration. Then, you can display it wherever you want.

Teacup and saucer

Another planter idea that you could use is those pair of teacups and saucers that you can’t either throw away or don’t know how to use yet. Just fill it with dirt, then place your flowers, add more dirt, press around, then water it a bit, and display. If you don’t have a teacup and saucer, you can also use that mini strainer around your house.

Tonka truck

If you have a kid who used to play with Tonka trucks but is all grown up now, you can use those and turn them into an adorable planter. Fill them with dirt, then place some marigold or any flower you prefer, add more dirt, press around, and water. They could add an adorable and playful touch to your garden.

Fondue pot

You might think that your old fondue pot is now useless after using them for a long time, after replacing them with a new one, use the old one as a planter. Remove the top bowl, then plant some lavender on it, and then place them on your porch. Aside from it smelling incredibly wonderful, it also is an effective bug repellant.

Camping pot

This planter idea doesn’t require you to replant your flowers. Just place any flower container that would fit directly onto your old camping pot. This could give them a new look with only 1 easy and quick step.

Pumpkin candle holder and spring basket

If you have a pumpkin candle holder, you can place your small pot of herbs in there, then you can build your own patio herb garden. You can also place a small container of flowers in a spring basket. Then, hung it on a tree branch if you want some adorable hanging planter.
