Ingredients:

  • 2 medium salmon fillets
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 2 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 tsp black sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp white sesame seeds
  • 1 medium green onion (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp oil (for frying)
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 5 drops of sesame oil
  • 6 medium pieces of dried seaweed (optional)

Directions:

Step 1

Season the salmon on both sides with a bit of salt, ground black pepper, and smoked paprika. Next, in a pan over medium-high heat, add some cooking oil, then place the salmon. Sear and fry on both sides until it’s cooked through. After the salmon has been cooked, set it aside. Next, put the cooked rice in a serving bowl and place the salmon over the top. Get two forks and flake the salmon. (It’s up to you if you will leave the skin in or out.)

Step 2

Next, add 1/4 cup of mayo, 1 tbsp of sriracha, and a few drops of sesame oil. Gently mix everything to combine. Serve this with a bit of roasted seaweed on the side. (This is optional.) If you want, you can drizzle a bit of mayo and sriracha over the top for extra flavor. Garnish the rice bowl with some black and white sesame seeds and a few chopped green onions.
