Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp salt, divided
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp black sesame seeds
  • 2 – 3 potatoes, boiled
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp ginger powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp green chili, chopped
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
  • 2 tbsp corn flour

Directions:

Step 1

In a bowl, add 1 cup flour, 1 tbsp oil, and 1/2 tsp salt. Mix well, then pour 1/3 cup of water gradually. Continue this until dough forms. After the dough forms, add 1/2 tsp black sesame seeds. Mix and incorporate them into the dough. Leave it for 10 minutes covered. Next, chop your boiled potatoes into quarters, then grate them. Transfer the grated potatoes to a bowl, then add 1/2 tsp chili flakes, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp ginger powder, 1/2 tsp cumin powder, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp chopped green chili, 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves, and 2 tbsp corn flour. Mix everything well to combine. After this, rub some oil on your hands and make small short log shapes with the potato mixture in your palms. Continue this until you finish all the mixture.

Step 2

Next, in a bowl, combine 2 tbsp flour and 2 tbsp water. Mix well. Back to the dough, take half of it, and transfer it to a floured surface. Roll it thinly with a rolling pin. After this, place a log-shaped potato on top, cut the dough, and roll it. Secure the edge with the flour mixture. Repeat this process with the rest of the log-shaped potato, then fry them in medium heat oil.
