Nothing beats a simple and hearty dinner with the family with this recipe from Jaycie Tanner on YouTube. Casserole dishes are a staple in our home, especially during the Fall and Winter seasons, and this poppy seed chicken is a crowd favorite. I mean, who wouldn’t love this simple recipe? It’s super easy to make, perfect for a busy weeknight and only needs a few ingredients to make. Growing up, my mom frequently made this dish for us, so when I had my own family, I also made it a go-to recipe to warm the dinner table.
Impress your family tonight with this hearty recipe! Watch the video below to learn the step by step instructions. Thanks to Jaycie Tanner for this fantastic recipe.
To start, pre-cooked your chicken and shred them to pieces (you can also use rotisserie chicken for this recipe). Next, transfer the shredded chicken to a large bowl followed by 8 oz sour cream and one can of cream of chicken. Season with 1 tsp Auntie Nono everything seasoning, 1 tsp Kinders the blend seasoning, and 1 tsp poppy seeds. Mix until well combined.

Once done, transfer the chicken mixture to a casserole dish and spread them out nicely and evenly. Set aside. Next, crush one bag of Ritz crackers in a ziplock, then add 4 tbsp melted butter. Sprinkle this on top of the casserole. Now, place it in a 350 degrees F oven uncovered and bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until it starts bubbling. Serve and enjoy!
